As per the the locals, each evening, nearly 700 people gather at the mosque to break their fast together, fostering a sense of unity and goodwill among worshippers and passersby alike.

“Since its inception in 2013, Masjid Bilal has epitomized inclusivity, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds to join in the evening iftar ritual,” said a local shopkeeper in Lal Chowk.

Spearheaded by the mosque president and a dedicated team of volunteers, the initiative to provide iftar meals has evolved into a cherished tradition, rooted in the values of generosity and communal harmony.

Volunteers, propelled by a profound sense of duty and compassion, work tirelessly to prepare hundreds of iftar packs daily, ensuring that no one leaves empty-handed.
