Srinagar: Ramping up the vaccination process, the district administration Srinagar on Monday held mass vaccination melas across different locations of the city.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the district administration Srinagar on the directions of DDMA Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar has started the mass vaccination for the age group of 45 and above.
“The vaccination sites are at Panthachowk, Batamaloo and Pratap Park where all ages of 45 and above can come and take the vaccine dose,” he said.
Officials said that the aim of the mela is to get vaccinated all the people who have not received the dose yet.
“It is for the convenience of people that these vaccination camps have been set up at different locations across Srinagar. The drive will be carried out at more locations across Srinagar in coming days,” an official said—(KNO)
