Srinagar : Even after elapsing over six months since vaccination drive against Covid-19 was started in J&K, around 13 percent front line workers in J&K are yet to get their first dose of vaccine while 44 percent are yet to get the second dose.
As per the data available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in Srinagar of 61,033 front line workers, 43,084 have received the first jab while 26,677 have received both jabs.
“The percentage of front line workers who have received the first jab is 71 percent while 44 percent have received the second jab,” the data reveals.
In Kulgam 100 percent have received the first jab and 71 percent have received the second jab.
In Shopian of 6,311, 77 percent received the first jab and 50 percent received the second jab. In Bandipora, of 11,076, 84 percent and 52 percent have received first and second jabs respectively.
In Anantnag of 21,634 front line workers, 68 percent have received first dose and 42 percent have received second dose and in Baramulla of 31,685 front line workers, 66 percent have received first jab and 45 percent have received second jab.
In Kupwara out of 18,748 front line workers, 78 percent have received the first jab and 50 percent have received the second jab. In Pulwama, of 17,832 workers 100.00 percent have received the first jab while 62 percent have received the second jab. In Ganderbal of 6,519 front line workers 98 percent have received first jab and 71 percent have received second jab and in Budgam of 23,745 workers 82 percent workers have received first jab while 61 percent have received second jab.
Similarly in Jammu, Kishtwar, Doda, Udhampur, Kuthua, Ramban, Samba, Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi 94 percent, 100 percent, 87 percent, 100 percent, 100 percent, 100 percent, 95 percent, 98 percent, 86 percent and 100 percent front line workers have received first jab while as 69 percent, 55 percent, 54 percent, 62 percent, 78 percent, 84 percent, 57 percent, 61 percent 52 percent and 73 percent have received second dose respectively.
In aggregate form, of 359,542 front line workers, 314,107 (87 percent) have received first jab and 202,981 (56 percent) have received second jab respectively
