Srinagar: A local court here rejected bail of an accused who his stabbed his younger brother in Gojwara locality of downtown Srinagar.
Reports said the bail application of Hilal Ahmad Geelani lodged in Central jail for stabbing his younger brother Bilal Ahmad Geelani over a family property dispute. He has been under detention for murderous attack vide FIR no. 29/2023.
Pertinent to mention that accused attacked his brother when he was travelling in a car with his mother near Goiwara. The victim was seriously injured and rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
Stabbing took place on 06/08/23 while 3rd additional Munsif on 30/08/22 rejected his bail application.
People had demanded severe action against the culprit for stabbing his brother in broad daylight.
