Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police has arrested two persons, including a driver, for raping a girl inside a truck on Monday in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, police spokesman said.
He said acting on a specific information that a girl was being raped by two persons inside a truck at Mirbazar in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, a police party immediately rushed to spot.

During the search of the truck, a girl was rescued and two accused identified as Hafiz Farooq and Ubaid Ayoub, residents of Gadiham Kulgam were arrested.
A case under FIR No. 63/2021 U/S 376, 109 IPC has been registered at Police Station Qazigund and investigations have been taken up, he said adding truck used for committing the crime has been seized.
The girl was handed over to her family members after fulfilling all medico legal formalities.
