Srinagar: An elderly woman was killed on Wednesday afternoon after she was hit by an Army vehicle in the Nadihal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Local sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a woman was hit by an Army vehicle while crossing the road in Nadihal this afternoon.
A police official from the district confirmed the death of a woman and identified her as Guljani Begum wife of Abdul Rehman Mir, a resident of Chetti-Banday area of Bandipora.
He said police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation has been taken up. (KDC)
