Last week the ministry of road transportation and highways visited the J&K valley and looked over various road and tunnel projects including the Banihal – Qazigund tunnel and inaugurated five tunnels with a length of 45km. In an Interaction with media Ministry talk about Srinagar- Delhi highway, Srinagar-Jammu highway, Mughal road and others. But when Gadkari was asked about the Sadhna tunnel he and the LG didn’t deliver a clear cut respond or assurance to the media or we can say to the people of Tangdhar karnah. The hopes of the locals were high especially after the inauguration of Sharda Peeth in Teetwal karnah, Kashmir and it was expected this visit of ministry will lay down the stone of Sadhna tunnel but this time also people of karnah kept waiting for the construction/inauguration of just 6km tunnel. The GOI should state the reason transparently to people of karnah ,that what make them wait for so long for the construction of Sadhna tunnel, will ever they get a merely 6km tunnel or not from the Gadkari sab or GOI.
