- No Precipitation Expected in J&K and Ladakh Till March 6
Srinagar: The Meteorological department on Tuesday predicted that the weather is expected to remain dry this week in the J&K and Ladakh till March 6 although temperature dropped in South Kashmir and continued to rise at other places.
Director meteorological department Sonam Lotus said that mainly dry weather is expected in both (J&K and Ladakh) till 6th March.

While divulging the details about the routine temperature, a meteorological official told CNS that Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.5°C against minus 6.2°C on the previous night.
While Central Kashmir’s Srinagar city recorded a low of 1.6°C against 1.4°C on the previous night. The temperature was minus 0.6°C below the normal on the beginning of the month of March.
The South Kashmir’s Qazigund area recorded a low of 0.7°C against 4.0°C on the previous night. At Pahalgam the mercury settled at minus 3.3°C against 0.7 on the previous night. Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a low of 1.1°C against 2.6°C on the previous night.
The Met officials said that the minimum temperature at North Kashmir’s Kupwara settled at 1.1°C in against 0.4°C on the earlier night temperature. (CNS)
