JAMMU: The Government on Friday informed that 808 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19),283 from Jammu division and 525 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 136470.Also 04 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 02 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 312 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 60 from Jammu Division and 252 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 136470 positive cases, 6115 are Active Positive, 128332 have recovered and 2023have died; 747 in Jammu division and 1276 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6416947 test results available, 6280477 samples have been tested as negative till 09thApril, 2021.
Till date 1578135 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 60768 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 6115 in isolation and 124839in home surveillance. Besides, 1384390 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 31057 positive cases (including 299 cases reported today) with 2159 Active Positive, 28421recovered (including 167 cases recovered today), 477 deaths; Baramulla has 9540 positive cases (including 104 cases reported today)with 757Active Positive, 8600recovered (including 47 cases recovered today), 183 deaths; Budgam reported 8553 positive cases (including 36 cases reported today)with 373 active positive cases, 8058 recovered (including 18cases recovered today), 122 deaths; Pulwama has 6063 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today)with 134 Active Positive, 5837 recovered and 92 deaths; Kupwara has 5959 positive cases (including 22 cases reported today), 161 Active Positive, 5701recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 97 deaths; Anantnag district has 5328 positive cases (including 23 cases reported today)with 154 Active Positive, 5077 recovered (including 04 cases recovered today), 97 deaths; Bandipora has 4870 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today), with120Active Positive and 4687 recoveries, 63 deaths; Ganderbal has 4787 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today)with 73 Active Positive, 4665 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today)and49deaths; Kulgam has 2998 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today)with 216 Active Positive, 2726 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today)and 56 deaths while as Shopian has 2699 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today),59 active positive cases, 2600 recoveries and 40 deaths.
