Kupwara: A woman has died even as two minor siblings have sustained injuries after a vehicle they were on-board met an accident at Hajinar Karnah area of this north-Kashmir district.
An official told Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS) that a Tata Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK-09 2710 driven by one Javid Ahmad Khan met an accident resulting in on-spot death of a woman and injuries to two others.
Identifying the deceased as Rukhsar Begum (30) wife of Tasleem Ahmad Lone, a resident of Bakhiyaan Tanghdar, the injured minor girl duo as per the official included Zohra Shameem(3) and Zoya Shameem – daughters of Shameem Ahmad of Haihama village in the district. The injured duo has been evacuated to sub-district hospital Kupwara for treatment, the official said. (GNS)
