Baramulla: The tragic incident took place At Zamoor Pattan Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district in which 5 persons sustained critical injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital.
Eyewitnesses told CNS that the vehicle bearing registration number vehicle no JKo5J-3012 fell into a deep gorge when the driver lost control over the vehicle, five persons boarding the vehicle including the driver were critically injured in the accident.
According to the sources, the injured were identified as Mohammad Ismail son of Raj Mohammad, Jameel Ahmad son of Mohammad Rafiq, Khadim Husasain son of Mohammad Ramzan, Moghammad Rafiq son of Din Mohammad and Gulshan Bano daughter of Rafiq Ahmad.
“Although all the injured were shifted to hospital, Mohammad Ismail son of Raj Mohammad succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital and Khadim Hussain succumbed minutes after undergoing treatment in nearby hospital” said Zulkarnan, relative of the deceased.
The condition of others till this report was filed was said to be critical.
Another accident took place at Abdullah Bridge on Wednesday evening in which the Tipper bearing Registration number JK02AE-7842 collided with two vehicles, Creata bearing Registration number JK01AA-9009 and Tempo bearing registration number JK12A-0275.
Meanwhile injured persons shifted to hospital were identified as Zaman Patto, son of Imtiyaz along with his grandfather namely Ghulam Rasool, resident of Gupkar Road, both of them were boarding the Creata vehicle.
Similarly Paramjeet Singh, son of Upkar Singh, resident of Janipur Jammu boarding the Tempo vehicle was also shifted to hospital with minor injuries.
