Whatever has been happening in Kashmir is heart-wrenching and only brings about sadness because at the end of the day, human life is lost, be it anyone, the ultimate loss is to humanity. This time over, the teachers were killed, while we do not know the reasons, the killing can never be justified. However, things are not as good as of now.
The members of the minority communities have been stating that they kind of feel terrified with the recent spike in the killings—it is the feeling which can prove detrimental for the social fabric of the Valley which has managed to remain intact over the years. There is a need to protect that social fabric which is the asset of people living in J&K: that needs to be protected at every cost. There is a need for reaching out to minority community members so that they do not feel alone.
The spilling of blood has been fetching nothing; rather it adds to mental agony and has now created a void between the communities who have been living in peace and harmony for ages. At times when things are quite fragile, there is a need for keeping an eye on people who would try to en-cash on the situation for scoring points. If such elements succeed in their designs, the same is going to be pretty dangerous for society as a whole. As of now, there is a need for standing by each other with the hope that everything will fall in place, soon!
